Special Needs Child Care Assistant

Your role will include:
- Supporting children in participating in age-appropriate activities that grow holistic child development skills.
- Maintaining open communication with colleagues.
- Ensuring adherence to school policies.
- Fostering an atmosphere of respect and positive reinforcement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation and successful background check.
- Physical ability to perform job duties.
- 1 year of experience working with diverse groups of children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in child development, early childhood education, or related field.
- Experience working with school-aged children with special needs in a childcare or education setting is highly preferred.
Salary:
- Pay: $21.25 per hour.
Locations & Shift Times:
- Monday - Friday.
- 2 PM - 6 PM District-Wide. Hours may vary by location.
- 5-20 hours per week.
- Birchview, Kimberly Lane or Plymouth Creek.
